Thank You so much for sharing your
adorable cabin with us. We have already
re-booked for labor day weekend. We
had everything we needed : ) The only
change I would make is having a washer
& dryer with all our lake towels would
of been nice, but no big deal. We loved
your son Jesse being onsite - he made a
huge hit with the boys and hung out with
them all evening : ) We received fresh
veggies from your mom and dad which were
greatly appreciated. Looking forward to

The cabin is lovely and comfortable,
and we enjoyed a welcome, relaxing,
and quiet stay on this beautiful
property near Lake Cumberland and Wolf
Creek. I had to work for a few hours
one day, but didn't mind doing so while
listening to the burbling brook and
scritching a purring kitty. My favorite
feature, BTW, is Sylvester - the world's
friendliest cat!! We loved visiting with
him on the porch throughout our stay. I
would definitely recommend this home to a
couple or a small family. The owner's son
lives downstairs, but we barely noticed he
was there, he was so quiet and respectful
of our privacy. Thank you for sharing this
beautiful property with us!

Hardwood floors, a stone gas fireplace, and vaulted ceilings embellish the rustic living room which greets you as you enter the home. During your downtime, stream your favorite shows on the flat-screen cable Smart TV as you get comfortable on the plush sofa.
An open floor plan creates an easy flow throughout the first floor. As the children lounge in the living room, the adults can whip up home-cooked meals in the fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy your creations at the round dining table or at the kitchen island.
After a day spent roaming the wooded property, playing on the swing set or boating around nearby Lake Cumberland, you’ll likely be ready to retreat to your spacious bedroom. Those sharing the room on the first floor will enjoy a king-sized bed, while those sharing the Cherry Room will sleep tight in a queen-sized bed. This is the perfect getaway. My husband can’t stop thanking me for his surprise birthday present. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We were able to rest, recharge and hang out. From napping to the hot tub, the cabin was close enough to town, but remote enough for privacy. – Submitted Jan 23, 2019
“Hanging in There” is a newly built custom log cabin sitting on top of a mountain. It Is very private and secluded yet close to everything too. It has one bedroom, one bath, living room, kitchen, laundry room and back screen porch. The kitchen has custom hickory cabinets and is well stocked with everything you will need. The floors are hardwood (Maple) and ceramic tile. It Is decorated with black bears and other wildlife decor. It has a gas fireplace. You can take a morning walk in private or just watch the wildlife from the screen porch. If this beauty is not available you may contact owner for additional cabin rentals.
